Weekly News (week of 4th of July!)
The team at Zion National Park for the 4th of July weekend. Awesome! Friday Bible Study
For the 4th of July weekend, the team went on a trip to Zion National Park in Utah. It was so awesome. We all came back with good memories and a darker tan!
Tommy’s Hamburgers We started off eating at Tommy’s Hamburgers at Lem’s insistence. It was a burger with a lot of chili and a little bit of patty.
Angel’s Landing Our first hike was to go up Angel’s Landing, a towering cliff of 5,785 feet.
We even saw some wild animals.
Zion wildlife… scary! On Sunday, we had Sunday Worship Service amidst nature, with Lem preaching in the river. As we sang the hymn “How Great Thou Art” we heard the brook and felt the gentle breeze.
Sunday worship in God’s beautiful nature! The highlight of the trip was to hike the Narrows. It’s a trail where you hike up a river with towering cliffs on each side of you.
The Narrows It was a great time of bonding and fellowship and taking in God’s beautiful creation!
