Hey hey hey, a2f! This is Jasper: staff in homegroup HuFitz, class brother of Kenton, and a2f photojournalist – I’m here to bring you report on a2f’s SF Ghirardelli & Battery Park outing this past weekend!
Before all that…

It's a2f's turn to do setup - that's right, it's done by amateurs like us.

"Hi, I'm Jonathan, and I'm here to help with setup!"
After Bible Study, we headed out to San Francisco for our first stop: Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory and Ice Cream!
Everybody in SF knows that Ghirardelli is famous for the “Earthquake”–it’s what everybody’s here to eat. (FYI: Earthquake = 8 scoops of ice cream + 8 toppings)

9 Sisters per Earthquake

3 Brothers per Earthquake

We caught Tim exceeding his 2,000 calorie/day limit. "This isn't what it looks like!" he claims. Dan just doesn't care...

Group picture, smile!
After Ghirardelli, we trekked across the Golden Gate Bridge to a vista point known as Battery Park. It’s called Battery Park because in the olden days, the government placed artillery gun batteries there to smash enemy ships if they tried to sail into the bay. Fortunately, those guns never saw action and now it’s a park.

Wish you were there but couldn’t make it? Don’t fret. We’ll go again someday.
