Sunday Worship Service @ Grandma Jaqi’s!!!

This past Sunday, our Homegroup put on a worship service at Grandma Jaqi’s apartment, at Glen Brook Terrace.  It was great to see Grandma Jaqi again and be able to share the Gospel message with her friends. We started out with a delicious breakfast and mingling time, followed by a heartfelt message by Joyce Yen about Jesus’ encounter with Nicodemas in John 3.  Little did we know that a chinese speaking couple would come for their first time… so Johnny Yang translated Joyce’s message for them in Mandarin!  (Thanks for the thorough and speedy translation!)  Afterwards, we sang a Amazing Grace for the residents and ended with some more time to mingling and getting to know each other.  We were so blessed to visit and meet Grandma Jaqi’s precious friends.  Thank you everyone who came and joined us!  Your presence really made a difference :)

Hey There!! Welcome to our Homegroup!!!

Half Dome!!!!

Half Dome!!!!

This is my first official post under our Homegroup Tab…exciting!!!!  A2F just got back from Yosemite and it was an awesome time!!!  Sorry to those who couldn’t make it.  We spent both days in Toulomne Meadows hiking up to Pothole Dome on Day 1 and hiking 8 miles round trip to North Dome on Day 2.  On top of North Dome was an incredible view of Half Dome…doesn’t get any better!    I would say we all had a wonderful time this past 4th of July weekend spending time with one another and just being out there in God’s creation.  I was once again amazed at how great our God is!!!
