What is acts2fellowship? Acts 2 is a passage in the Bible describing people devoted to studying the Bible, to prayer and to one another. “Fellowship”, is simply another word for friendship—friendships that develop through discovering life together from God’s perspective with its many challenges. So, whether you’re a Christian, or someone who’s just curious about finding out what Christians believe, we welcome you!

Welcome to Cal and a2f! We’re the Acts2Fellowship council for 2009-10 and our jobs are to reserve rooms, represent our group to the Office of Student Life on the UC Berkeley campus, and much more. Our Directors
Daniel and Sarah are directors of acts2fellowship. Daniel graduated as an EECS major, completed seminary and has a M.A. in Christian Apologetics. When he is not giving Bible studies, Daniel likes to write skits or publish embarrassing stories about people on www.disgracepointonline.org. Sarah graduated long ago as an English major and went on to law school. She likes to hang out at cafes and read, and she can out-run and out-swim Daniel. They are both working full time at church. Their children, Elise (7) and Michelle (5), keep everyone around them on their toes with their quirkiness.
If you have any questions about our group or just want to talk; sign up for their office hours, shoot them an email, or just give them a call!

Want more details about acts2fellowship? Here’s a breakdown of what we do:
Seeking God
“Who is God? What does He want? What role, if any, does He play in my life?” Whether you’re actively seeking God or just wrestling with some tough questions, we treat these issues seriously. At acts2fellowship, we help everyone explore these questions through many avenues- small groups where people share and discuss who God is, Bible Studies where God is made relevant to our lives, and courses on the basics of Christianity.
Growing Spiritually
Our goal is to instruct each person and build each other up into the people God intended us to be- people who know God in a meaningful way and can relate to one another honestly, in close friendship. We help each other grow through personal study of the Bible, small groups and Friday messages, and serving our surrounding communities with Christ-like compassion.
Making Lifelong Friends
Starting from your first semester at Cal all the way through years out of college, the friends you make here are friends for life. Through small groups dinners or large group outings, we constantly want to foster relationships that are genuine, deep, and trusting. Here at acts2fellowship, we lower our barriers in order to share in each other’s lives, both in the good times and bad. That’s what “fellowship” is all about. Check out our small groups video at our Get Connected Page!
Having Fun!
What’s a fellowship without hanging out and having fun? Join us for: beach outings, game nights, potlucks, camping trips, and just hanging out in each other’s homes. Here at acts2fellowship, we want to create memories that go beyond the usual gamut of midterms, papers, and classes.
